Quick answer

There is no universal Yupoo price-code rule

Some album owners may use their own abbreviations or codes, while others place the price on a marketplace page or provide it through an authorized contact. A pattern used by one uploader should not be applied to another.

Wait for the relevant owner or source to explain an unfamiliar code before turning it into a price. A guessed amount makes every later comparison weaker.

Why the price may be missing

The album may be used only for visual presentation, the price may live on a separate Taobao, Weidian, or 1688 page, the listing may have changed, or the uploader may expect readers to ask through a public contact route. A Yupoo price list or China wholesale price list may also use quantity tiers that do not apply to one item. Missing information is not automatically a hidden bargain or a warning; it is simply a gap that needs a source.

Why a price-like code is not enough

Letters, symbols, shortened numbers, or unfamiliar notation can be internal labels, batch references, seller-specific codes, or something unrelated to price. Even when an uploader publishes a key, confirm that it applies to the current album and item. Keep each uploader’s convention in its own spreadsheet context.

Where to check next

  1. Read the full caption and album context.Look for a named currency, variant note, quantity, MOQ, or clearly explained code.
  2. Open the exact source link.Confirm the item, seller context, variant, and current page before recording an amount.
  3. Use an authorized public contact. To request wholesale price, send the exact product code, variant, quantity, destination, and ask what the quote excludes; keep payment questions separate from price questions.
  4. Record the date and source.A price without a review date becomes difficult to compare later.
  5. Leave the field blank when it remains unclear.“Price not found” is better data than an estimate presented as fact.

Five fields that make a price usable

Amount and currency

Write both together. The page language alone does not tell you whether the amount is CNY, USD, or another currency.

Exact variant

Color, size, material, batch, and included parts can change the amount.

Quantity basis

A supplier price may depend on minimum quantity, pack size, or tier.

Source page

Keep the raw URL and identify whether it is an album, marketplace, supplier, or copied record.

Date checked

The date shows when you saw the amount; it does not guarantee how long it remains current.

Compare the same total, not just the first number

Separate product price, domestic delivery, service fees, packaging, international shipping, taxes or customs assumptions, and optional extras. Some parts may be unknown at the research stage. Keep them in separate columns so an incomplete low number does not look like a complete total.

A useful spreadsheet example

FieldExample note
Visible amountRecorded exactly as shown, with currency.
VariantSpecific color and size selected on the source page.
QuantityOne item, or supplier minimum clearly noted.
SourceRaw marketplace or supplier URL, not only a copied service record.
CheckedYour actual review date.
MissingFees, packed weight, route cost, or any other unresolved component.

When a very low price deserves more questions

Check whether it refers to a deposit, accessory, minimum quantity, default variant, incomplete item, or an unrelated listing. Compare the images, code, options, seller context, and quantity rules. Low price alone is not evidence of value, fraud, availability, or quality.
