Quick answer
Count only checks you can support with visible evidence
Give one point for each statement you can support from the relevant album, catalog, source, or QC page. Leave the box empty when the information is missing, ambiguous, or belongs to a different item.
A high score means the research row is better documented. It does not prove authenticity, quality, stock, seller reliability, or transaction safety.
Nine-point checklist
- The item belongs in the category I am researching.
- The album or catalog photos show the details that matter.
- Watermarks and contact details are reasonably consistent.
- Sizing, measurements, or fit notes are visible when needed.
- Price is compared with similar results rather than judged alone.
- Shipping weight does not remove the value.
- The source or purchase link matches the item being shown.
- QC photos are relevant to the same item or source when available.
- I can explain why I would save this result.
How to score a result
Do not award half-points for confidence or polished presentation. The question is whether the evidence is visible and relevant.
Strong example
A clothing row has a clear category, full album views, consistent watermark, garment measurements, comparable price context, a realistic weight note, a matching raw source link, relevant QC photos, and a written save reason. That earns nine research points while remaining unverified.
Weak example
A link opens one polished cover image with no measurements, source, price context, matching QC, or consistent contact details. The row is labelled “great quality” but offers no reason. It may receive one category point and should be removed for now.
One-sentence save rule
Save the result only when you can name the item, the useful evidence, the matching source, and the important uncertainty in one sentence.
What to do next
If the score is low, search by exact code or category instead of filling gaps. If the photos are the weak point, use the QC guide. If weight changes the value, review the shipping-weight guide. If contact, seller, or payment details are inconsistent, remove the result until the safety questions have clear answers.
